Explaining testing: See and Observe 2
Oxford Dictionary definitions of See and of Observe.

This is a screen shot from "The Last Stand". What do you see? What do you observe?
BTW, stay away from this movie unless you hate yourself.

Explaining testing: Test scripts
Excerpt from: Alan Richardson – What Made You a Leader?
I mean, and this is just one example, they wanted me to write down all the steps I was going to take before I had ever done them. Insane. And when the obvious thing happened i.e. we couldn’t do what we had written because the system didn’t quite work the way we thought it had, they were surprised. But we didn’t learn, instead we amended all the scripts, then started again, and again, and again. Because that was the ‘way testing was done’.

Explaining testing: 101 Tactics For Revolutionaries
Here are the first 10 to get you started.
Onward to glory!
- if you’re in charge, do it yourself
- if you’re not in charge, do it yourself
- become known as “the guy who…” so when the time is right, everyone knows there’s a guy who…
- learn to be nice, so people like you
- realise there are no rules, you can do what you like
- know that you are as right as you can be for now given what you’ve learnt so far
- know that this is the same for everybody else
- stay on the inside of the wrong thing so you can speak with authority on why and how it is wrong
- know it’s not a race. That you can divide the world into those ahead of you and those behind, and to all those ahead of you, you’re the one behind.
- be an entrepreneur not a crusader
